Erika Borunda Ahajanian is a top-producing luxury real estate professional who pioneered the San Diego market for The Altman Brothers team and has worked with numerous milestone properties since 2019. In that time, she has also earned recognition for her advancements in this business, including features on KUSI, CNBC, and Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing.” Her practical mindset, knee-deep insights into the San Diego region, passion for delivering high-touch client service, and keen ability to think outside the box to create unique solutions have helped her rank in the top 1% of San Diego real estate professionals and amass more than $100 million in career sales. She has also been a panelist at Chicago Realty, the Washington D.C. Housing Convention, WomenUP!, various lender conferences, and the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals® (NAHREP) at both the national and chapter levels.
Before launching her real estate career, Erika had a broad professional background that spanned banking, corporate finance, IT, and enterprise resource planning. The business side of it has influenced her keen transactional oversight, and the IT component has enabled her to employ cutting-edge tools to ensure a seamless and forward-moving experience. An entrepreneur at heart, Erika thrives on marrying innovative ideas with emerging technologies and even gained industry recognition for it when she established the first cryptocurrency listing. She believes technology is the wave of the future in real estate, and she’s one of its earliest adopters. Erika also leverages her arsenal of marketing strategies and extensive professional network to provide not only superior but consistent service. Whether representing first-time buyers or facilitating luxury listings, Erika forges custom pathways to homeownership and investments.
Erika’s community presence through real estate includes her role as founder of the La Jolla chapter of NAHREP, of which she also served as president. Other initiatives involve providing back-to-school supplies to elementary schools to ensure children get their education off to a strong start.
